February Progress

Since “completing” the layout last year, I’ve had articles in The Northern Times, Model Railway Journal, Far North Express, Highland Railway Journal, and Scalefour News, including the first published picture of a Far North train passing through the model Culrain.

I now want to increase the number of train photographs, which also means improving the scenery in places. And that’s what I’ve been working on this past month, for example by increasing the number and variety of interchangeable tree modules. And towards the end of the month I made a start on investigating the parcels stock and utility vehicles often seen at the front of Far North passenger trains. This is a subject in itself.

Meanwhile, I’ve re-vamped 3. Kyle of Sutherland Layout and added some new pages.
