January progress

Posted on February 1, 2014. Filed under: Monthly progress |

At long last I assembled the various scenic and building components on the two scenic boards. After replicating as near as possible prototype photographs of Culrain station by Vallance, Sibley and Young I feel confident that the end is in sight. My idea is to use these photo mock-ups to inform the next stages of modelling.

I’m nevertheless amazed by how much more detail is still needed. I guess it’s one of the hazards of modelling a real location? But how long will it be before I post some pictures?
